Hi All,
I posted awhile ago about my great gelding, Long Gone Con...he's doing great! However, I wanted to post about another gelding, that a friend of mine bought from Suffolk at the same time I bought Con...
the gelding is a 10 year old named Sumerset. He had a good career, and won the Maryland Million Classic at 4 years old, under trainer Tim Ritchey. My friend is going through a divorce, and needs to find this awesome horse a home. He's been sound off the track, and is a great horse to work around! Any of you racing buffs know of someone who'd love to have this great gelding? I hate to see him "let loose in the world" where he could end up at auction! Time is an issue, and this needs to happen fast!

Not sure where y'all are, but perhaps your friend might want to contact Mid Atlantic Horse Rescue for help in placing Sumerset.

From my watching their site, they seem to have contacts up and down the Atlantic seaboard where they find good homes for their rescues.
