Somehow I can't picture the name "Kodiak Kowboy" on the trophy
not to say he's not a nice horse, he's obviously got talent, but I doubt his ability to go long

I'm sorry, but that trophy is already pre-engraved for Daniel Moon! :wink: Uh-oh, now I have to make an offering to the racing gods...

Seriously, though, he looks like a real contender to me until he loses a distance race. I think the Special is a good start on the Derby Trail. The Posses are just coming to the racetrack so who knows how far they will run. After all, Gulch sired Thunder Gulch so who can predict?

I don't like the name much, though. It's got a catchy alliteration verbally, but the K in Kowboy just doesn't ring like Secretariat and Affirmed and Citation.
