Hi Guys,

Lawyer Ron was pretty awesome again today!! :D He made it look easy and didn't seem to be running that hard.

Lawyer Ron has the potential to be a legitiment great horse. Hes playing with horses, hes so good right now its insane

Rok, where you at buddy. Remember the Holthus Pletcher thread when you said the horse ran better for Bob? Did you catch the last two runs? Hes nowhere near the same horse, hes a complete freak.

Id say hes getting the most out of this one

he's looking good against horses that aren't grade 1 quality, but you can't hold that against him.. that's all that is there

He was my Derby pick last year. I always thought he was a horse with a lot of talent. Todd P. has done a very nice job with him.

Dont kid yourself about him being just a good horse running against not so good horses. Only special horses dont bounce off his last top, hes not an ordinary good horse. Hes on the cusp of greatness

I would say that horse is pretty much just trying to pad a resume. I dont know how much longer hell be around, but hes never ducked or dodged. Todds done real well with that hrose for EA too, hes exceeded expectations

I'll be more than willing to give T Pletch all the credit in the world for this one

as soon as he runs a similar race outside of Saratoga. for all I know he's a horse for course.. becuase he damn sure hasn't done anything resembling this in the past

He almost did make 3 million.

He ran a sneaky huge race, the winner came back and galloped the next time out. Hes a special horse Rokeby, had he been in Todds care his entire career there is no telling where he would be now. I think hes the best horse in the country

Uh....standing next to Chapel Royal in the "broke down before I got to win anything major" stallion barn, maybe?

Not baiting or flaming, but name one horse that Todd pletcher has held together from getting him as a 2YO to win a Grad1 on the dirt?

fog.. you have to see where I am coming from. It's great that you are passionate about the sport, and in the end that's all that matters.. but I am passioniate as well.

looking at what's going on...

"wait until he gets to monmotuh, it will be a joke"

Considering he lost a grade 3 there... you expect me to think he will jump up and romp in a grade 1? espically against horses that have proven to love the course?

and maybe he will!!!! I have nothing against lawyer ron.. he was my derby ick as well.. But he is going to hve to prove to me he's more than a 1 track wonder, that's all I'm saying.
