Shy Dancer is the dam of Shy Native who is quite an influence in West Virginia bloodlines. Shy Dancer is also the 2nd dam of Heavenly Cause.
Heavenly Cause is the dam of Two Punch and Eastover Court. Two Punch is a much better stallion than Eastover Court but Eastover Court sure did well having the 1-2 finishers in the West Virginia Breeder's Classic last night with Eastern Delite defeating Confucius Say.
With Eastern Delite you can sure tall about half brothers to successful horses. His sire Eastover Court is half brother to Two Punch and his broodmare sire Iron is a half brother to Slew O' Gold, Coastal, and Dokki the dam of Aptitude.
Confucious Say is out of a Feel The Power mare as Feel the Power is out out the great race mare Davona Dale.

The late Eastover Court did even better than that.
The third place-horse in the Classic, Double Tollgate, also was by Eastover Court. So, his offspring went 1-2-3.
He also had the third-place horse in the $100,000 Onion Juice, Raggedy Andy, and the second-place finisher, Julie B, in the $350,000 Cavada for fillies and mares.
Among active West Virginia sires, Luftikus, seemed to have had the best night with a handful of second- and third-place finishers. Peak Dancer had a winner as well.
It was quite a night of racing.
