Octave

Postby TJ » Wed Nov 14, 2007 9:01 am

While Darley is trying to decide who to breed Octave to, I thought it would be fun if we take a guess and see if anyone gets it :>) TJ
1) If it is between the big 4 who recently went to stud, who would you choose (Curlin, Street Sense, Hard Spun, Any Given Saturday)?
2) Any Stallion anywhere?

My choices are: 1) Hard Spun 2) AP Indy.

i was going to actually post this same question yesterday!

first of all, darley didnt' buy her to bred her to a lane's end or other farm stallion.. he's going to support his new 'toys',

IMHO Octave is easy. Hard Spun. Octave's sisters have had some success in crossing wtih Danzig, so I would think it would be worthwhile to cross octave with hard spun

Round Pound IMHO is beggin for curlin. But unless darley buys curlin that's out the question. that's a little tougher.

Hard Spun for no other reason than he's my favorite.

okay I changed my mind. Octave's family has had the most success when crossed with storm cat blood.. so discreet cat would be a pretty good play in that case.
