on my way back in town y esterday I was listening to terry wallce, caller of oaklawn on the radio.. and he actually had the nerve to say to the uneducated folk on KARN that and I quote, "tracks like Saratoga, Del mar and Gulfstream have taken a page from us here at oaklawn because of our Great quality racing and short live meetings"..

I wanted to turn around nad head to the radio studio... i love oaklawn to death.. but we have NO grade 1 races, no turf racing, and saratoga has been around for about 30 years more than oaklawn..

Every race call he says and here they come into the stretch or here they come into the stretch of the mile run. Get a new line Wallace that one is as old as dirt.

I know Terry Wallace, he was one of our owners when I worked for Charlsie. He is a very nice man, an honest man and loves his horses. Please let's not go any farther with this thread.

Why not? Other people have been trashed mercilessly in other threads, for no reason other than personal vendettas. So what will be different?

I have to agree with Georgerz. Look how some people including a peaceful soul like Louis Finochio are trashed because of personal vendettas:

Oh, so I see, if it's someone Georgerz likes then the thread is to end, but if someone else likes a person, then Georgerz wants to trash them?

Sounds like him doesn't it?

Roke, your response to Georgerz was not necessary. Your response does not follow his point at all; neither do your examples. It is QUITE obvious that you are simply "egging on" or "baiting" another poster, one who you don't personally get along with, for the simple purpose of causing problems. His response was in no way aimed at you, and your personal attack back is simply childish and in line with your own personal agenda. Winds, your comment regarding Georgerz was not much better, and also does not fall in line with the post that he made at all.

I'm really tired of certain people on this board following others around who are on their "list" of posters that they don't like, and poking them with a stick whenever they can. It's childish and petty, and it's time to grow up and stop it. This is exactly the type of behavior that, while it doesn't really seem to be a big deal at this level, can and does escalate into nastiness that I end up having to deal with.

Hiya Rogue,

Agreeing with a poster is a "personal attack?" OK...if you see it that way, then I humbly apologize.

Have a great day, Rogue! :D

Roke, don't play the innocent. It's highly insulting. Typing "I agree" but then proceeding on to post SEVERAL quotes with the sole intent of making that poster look bad... for absolutely no reason other than to stir the pot... is just immature and obnoxious. Don't try to twist it; I'm not that stupid.

All I was trying to do was defend a good man who it looked like the thread was going to trash him. If anyone was going to say anything in response to what I posted I'd have thought it would have been bdw. However it wasn't, Roke to me was more or less defending my thoughts, which I appreciate.

Ok, I'm sure he's no Tom Durkin, or Trevor Denman but then he only works a short meet every year and that's it. Ok, I'll give you that..........
