Postby pokeyman » Sat Mar 29, 2008 6:21 am

Help! I can't find the Dubai races and the first big race is at 9:40 this morning. Where are they being televised? Thanks!

Yeah! It wasn't listed on schedule. However, I just called TVG in a panic and they said they will show the races. Got the contract late so it wasn't posted on website.......

3 more minutes......Go American horses!! :P

So -- anyone who can get TVG willing to share info with those who can't?

I'm watching it live on Xpressbet. You just have to bet anything on a race to get the stream. It looks like they are carrying a British signal of some kind.

Curlin looks just awesome in the saddling stall.

By the way, I've seen it in several places that ABC will be carrying the race, but it wasn't on my DirecTV grid. Maybe they got the contract late as well.

Geez, Asmussen is certainly getting his excuses out early: it's 10 degrees hotter, there's tens of thousands more people here, there's all the corresponding excitement for the horse, he hopes the real Curlin will show up. He must be nervous. Everyone else there seems intimidated.

Did I hear that at some point today ESPN will be recapping the Dubai races? I know for sure that ESPN or EPSN2 will at LEAST be televising the FLA Derby.
But wow, what a tease..bloodhorse is my homepage so i gotta stay away (haha) i want to be surprised. (Go Curlin!)

Oops, sorry! Hope I didn't blow it for you. ESPN will be recapping in their Fla Derby coverage.

I must say I was a little worried for a while. They had a funny angle closeup on him during the race, and it looked like his head was really cocked, and that he wasn't really on the bit. No need to worry, though!

That was very impressive. The sky is the limit for Curlin.
