Magnificence Works Today

Postby louis finochio » Mon Mar 31, 2008 5:53 pm

magnificence as taken another step towards her come back, working 6 furlongs in 1:11.2 with Mike Smith in the irons, Silvers swallow her stablemate broke on top and when magnificence caught up with her they went head-to-head for rest of the work been hard held.

the plan is to start her before the end of the Santa Anita meet, let's hope all goes well as planned, so we can see this magnificent filly in action again.

Solis didnt show up for her work, thats why Mike Smith was the pilot.

Saw this one breezed today at SA in 44 and 4. Couldn't help but think that's a bit over the top for a filly with issues.

Magnificence is Magnificence, as she is ready to run & we will witness a great filly in the making. She has no issues & is doing great. I make a habit of going by her stall to check on her condition. Headley is rolling all 7s, & has a winning hand. Good Luck M in your comeback. Louis.

When can we expect to see "M" entered?

So I guess Solis was too hungover and missed Magnificience's workout so Headley got pissed and replaced him with Flores? And why let him keep the mount on Surf Cat? I cant figure this out.

Magnificence will run on this coming weekend at HP. Lets hope she doesnt scare all her competition away, so the race fills.

Isn't she likely to break down though?

Since 23 of the 31 males in her five generation pedigree are Phalaris line stallions.

I am very much looking anticipating Magnificience's return as she is brilliantly fast and exciting to watch. I just hope she can stay sound this year. Unfortunately, it seems to be the fast ones that get hurt most often.

It's obvious, Louis, that you are tuned in to Headley's barn and also a true racing aficionado. I'm curious how M "doesn't have any issues" when she's been unraced for over a year. There must be something they have been tending to.

Anyway, let's hope she can dazzle us throughout the rest of the year.

She hit's the ground beautifully and is a sight to behold! Another great and patient training job by headly!
