Monba Derby 2008 winner?

Was it just me or did anyone else not notice how easily Monba won the Bluegrass?

Watch the jockey's ride hands and heels slaps him twice before the line to keep him straight.
If he would have ran around again he would have won.

For a Group 1 race I don't ever think I have seen a field dismissed so easily, the horse didn't even break a sweat.

I think Mr Pletcher has finally learned from past mistakes he is tuning this horse up just at the right time.

all I saw was Monba and Cowboy running off on a field of softly trained horses, and couple more out for a Saturday aft. stroll. anybody think cowboy cal is the more dangerous derby horse of those two?

Ok so lets try to make excuses for Pyro it was the surface he didn't act on the track, well thats a crazy one all American Tracks are the same?

Lets deride the winner because we want to make excuses for the beaten horses just to keep out bet slips alive.

He was impressive mighty impressive.

how EASILY? I wouldn't say that. I had some money on cowboy Cal and I thought I had a chance up utnil the last couple of jumps.

Monba should be a start on turf i would think. Same with Cowboy Cal.
