Can someone please make an attempt to explain to me how in the hell was he 199 to 1?

he was a top class european horse from what I can gather that beat horses like Arazi before he came over here.

He was 133-to-1 for the BC Classic and a gross overlay, having won the Group I Prix d'Ispahan earlier in the season; even with doubt about his form translating to dirt and a history of back trouble, I can't imagine why he was ever at more than 30-1 unless it was simply that people couldn't pronounce his name at the window!

bdw, 2 qs. were you alive then, and, if so, how much $$$ did you put on Arcangues? :shock:
