What would be your recommendation as to care. 3 year old 1 win 3 seconds in last 6 starts. Trainer says to walk him 2 weeks and see if filling subsides. then back to jogging. No tap if filling goes down on own. What do you guys think. :(

You could try OCD pellets to try to get the chip to fuse back - I would say no work for 4-6 weeks and treat it like a hairline fracture.
So Run for the Roses, as fast as you can.....

Also recommends adequan. We don't know how long this has been present, but no filling or heat prior.

I talked to the vet today. Of course his opinion is to keep on with the horse after injecting it. My trainer is a little more conservative with his wait and see approach then inject if we have to. Vet seemed to think rest followed by training could cause it to break off. I don't really get his approach, I guess he is used to those that just want to run them with all kinds of problems which I know a lot of them have. I think I'll give him some time. Maybe even bring him to the farm for a few weeks. The only benefit I have at the trainer is the eurosizor for walking.
