Anyone know a Quarter Horse racing website?

Postby Swaps1955 » Sun Dec 14, 2008 9:37 am

I was watching the Champion of Champions from Los Alamitos last night and saw Ten Oclock Scholar suddenly crash to the ground right affer the start. Looked like multiple horrible fractures, a broken shoulder or something. He rolled around a couple times and tried to get up but appeared not to be able to. The AAEP vet on call later said there appeared to be no fractures, but that he would assess the damage later that night. He felt it was soft tissue damage and that the horse was on his feet. The horse was vanned off. I was hoping that the Ten Oclock Scholar was savable. Does anyone have any information on him OR a quarter racing message board where I might be able to find out from someone else?

I emailed Dr. Allred at Los Al. We shall see if they care to give any information. I suspect no news would be very bad news.
