God, that wasn't your horse was it? (I don't know anything)

Then you already know about it.

NO... He told me that a horse broke down.
You know isnt this amazing.
I see posts critising Ca tracks and people who are there, but yet when something happens and is required details those who critise dont have the details. Im sure there more than Majxmom, and Tuc that are at the tracks. I know that Majxmom doesnt complain about the Ca tracks. But I guess that people that Complain on this Board about Ca dont have the everday facts to answere the questions.

I am not at GGF, so I don't have any idea who broke down or who's horse it was.
I will complain about thee tracks till the cows come home. Hey Santa Anita was frozen this morning. Two layers of ice. one on the top and one 4-5 inches down. The lower layer was about 10 degrees colder than the frozen top layer. Glad this surface isn't advertised as all weather! OR as safer for that matter.

And I Tuc, will say this to you. If you dont like it what are you doing there. Your just making your life worse by all this aggravation and turmoil. And its the same thing with Bob Baffert. I was there when he said that Indian Blessing doesnt like the Synthetic at the Breeders Cup, and that he would never come back and how he doesnt like it . But yet, He still runs his horse there.... Just like you...
Why dont you get out of California.

Why should I move? Go to places with poorly maintained dirt tracks, with small purses, and a 2 or 3 day a week race schedule? Nope.
Now remember you posted about a horse breaking down at GGF on a synthetic. Injuries are happening and these surfaces are not safer, not consistant, not cheaper, not easier to maintain, do not handle "all weather." Not one of them!
Why would Baffert leave? He has options to ship anywhere he wants and the owners to do it. If a horse doesn't like the surface, he is more than able to find a dirt track to run on, load up on a plane and be gone. Simple as that.
This home Karen. I don't allow the surface to dictate where I reside. And frankly IF I were to go anywhere it would be to another synthetic. Woodbine. Not Because of the surface, but because of the money available. Can't beat it!

Then why are you complaing about it? If you wont move.
If you want to stay, and you've set your own boundries then its your own boundries that you have built and now its rottening your life.
Ill never understand you.

Please spare me the philisophical crap.
I don't need you to understand me. I speak english, you read english. That's pretty much all you need to understand about me.
Call it freedom of speach, Karen. Call it what ever you want. I didn't say I won't move I said IF I were to move anywhere it would be Woodbine. Which although I was born there is not home.
I don't complain, I express myself and my concerns with the surface and it's shortcomings. And there are plenty. Training around a surface is not a fun task. I'd rather train around individual horses. BUT oh the joy, we get to do both.

Well if you read ENGLISH than you would have seen that I didnt say that you were training at Golden Gate Fields. Hence you wouldn t have replied, " I am not at GGF, so I don't have any idea who broke down or who's horse it was. "
AND
Gee- As far as Frost or Frozen Ground,,,,,, ITS WINTER TIME. Stuff like that is happening all over the United States of America. Not just Santa Anita.
I never took one Philisophical Class to bring up that line, its just common knowledge. I just see your posts and I shake my head and wonder what are you doing with your life if you have rotten views about 90% of the surfaces that horse racing has......
Oh and By the Way, You train? What are you doing on here at this time of day? Im the same time zone as you.
Never mind, I really dont want to know. I just want to know what happened to that Horse on Feb. 10, 2009.
Ill just look it up on the CHRB.GOV when the stewards post it next week.

And listen to the bashers complain more about California Racing when they really do nothing about it.

Geeze Karen, take a deep breath. You're the one who mentioned Tuc in the first place. There's no reason to turn this thread into a personal attack.

Look pfrsue
This is simple post that I just dont understand. I see posts about the Cal synthetic and how much people complain. But yet when it comes to the details as far as incidents goes... No one knows the details. People rush to criticize but nobody really knows the details as to what happened.
Pfrsue- It makes me fume under the collar when people bash cal surfaces when they dont really know whats going on ( day to day basis).
To me thats wrong, very wrong. I know that there are ALOT of people in Cal that are here and there are some the criticize, they should be the ones that speak about the day to day results in Cal.
Heck, Louis has a thread that atleast 180 pages long.
Tuc was mentioned because he and I have clashed before as far as what horse should be bred and what horses shouldnt be bred... as he has mentioned that he trains at Santa Anita. I didnt ask him to reply on this post, I mentioned that he trains on Cal Tracks. Tuc took it upon himself to post words on the thread that I have, so yes, I am going to address him. And yes he is one of them that criticize Cal tracks.
