Stake Races..How do you know ...

Postby gc 53 » Wed Feb 18, 2009 3:49 pm

I'm hoping everyone is not getting tired of the "new kid" asking questions in trying to learn about this Sport.
But how would I know if the Stallion (Air Academy) we have just gotten was in, or won any Stake Races? Without having to call and bug the previous trainer.
Thanks for your patience with us.
Gary and Sandy.

Is this a stallion you've gotten to stand at stud? Especially if that is the case, you'll want his full race record to have on hand. You can order his lifetime past performances through either Equineline or Brisnet. Any stakes races will be listed on his PPs.

TB papers.

We just got him 3 weeks ago and are waiting for the papers to be forwarded down from Arlington. Thank you for your response.
We felt it's probably too late in the year to offer him at stud, so will probably need to wait to advertise him for next Season.

Your stallion was stakes placed 3 times at Hawthorne and once at Arlington. You can look at his race record at the bottom of this page:

LB,
Thank you for taking the time to post the link for this info..Unfortunately in Missouri, I imagine there isn't much help around, as for as a TB Club might go.

Was hoping he might of been a Stakes Winner. Still nice to see he placed. Have a lot of learning to do...wish I were younger....
