Racing in PR

Just downloaded a past performances for Camarero, and noticed that they have, as notes, notices that horses will race with the Whip, Burr, Special Blinkers, Tongue Tied, Spurs, and even Testicles Tied.

The entire program is in English with the exception of the jockey's silks description.

do many race with tied testicles??

Lots of Standardbred stallions race in a jock strap that attaches back up to the harness. I haven't ever noticed anything like that on a Thoroughbred.

if memory serves I heard that Bill Mott did that with Cigar and some said it may have contributed to his infertility.

The program is in english because the racing is being broadcast to the states for off track betting.

And yes, all past performance includes the racing equipment mentioned above. Tied Testicles ia also a comonly used equipment only on those horses that take to this, because sometimes this "cure" is worse that the ailment (pinching) its trying to address.

I had a "big" stallion a couple of years ago and asked a friend of mine (a top trainer from Chile) what could be done about it if I thought the testicles were affecting performance. He told me about tying the stud's testicles....

I had never heard of it and asked what it entails. He started out by saying "you get panty hose and half a bottle of whiskey"...

That's all I needed to hear.... I gave up any thoughts of employing that method....

I never did find out if the whiskey was supposed to be for me or the horse.... maybe the best method would be to get a whole bottle - half for me and half for the horse....

We had a colt ( on a farm I managed several years ago ) that's testicles pinched him, we gelded him. He went on to win 4 in a row including the Gr II Bowling Green. His name was Dr. Kiernan.
