Good horse.
Ramon Dominguez rides him perfectly.

In an earlier thread, someone on this board wrote
"Borel would chew and spit out Ramon and Rose for breakfast and lunch. Those 2 couldnt hold Calvins jock.."

Funny: Dominguez wins the Arlington Million and Rose wins the Whitney about 3 minutes later!

If he was mine I'd be off to the Arc.

If he were MY horse, I'd try him on the California synthetics and make a bid for champion older horse.

I think he's got champion turf horse locked up, and the handicap division is in shambles. We know he can get 10 F, so why not run him next in the Pacific Classic? If he gets there and doesn't take to the synthetics at Del Mar, there are turf options he can run in (Palomar H, same weekend as the Pacific Classic).

In either case, then take him to Oak Tree and try the Goodwood. Again, if he doesn't liken the synthetics, the Clament L. Hirsch Turf is the same weekend. Either one sets him up well for the Breeder's Cup.

If he doesn't take to the synthetics, no big loss, but if he does... Then the BC Classic is another option. He's never actually run at 12 F before, so the BC Turf isn't as great for him as it might seem, while the Mile is a bit too short. The Classic might be a good option. In any case, he's going to have a hard time dodging all the Euro superstars-- Conduit, Sea the Stars, Goldikova. But if he can manage a win and a good placing in a couple G1s synthetic races, it would put his name in the mix for champion older male, and perhaps HotY.

In any case, he needs to ship to California for the BC at some point, so why not do it early and at least see how he takes to the synthetics?

I didn't say he was the best turf horse in the world just said if I owned him I would go to the Arc with him, it'd be fun, he likes soggy turf and he just won 4 Grade ones in a row, Why the LOL, you have be in to win and its high time some US horses try. Ya never know (didn't think MTB would win the Derby did ya)

Ruffian's plan for him is an excellent plan . I would just love to win the Arc with an American horse, just a personal preference is all.

He looked really strong today and was a convincing winner. Anyone know whether Einstein's OK, though? He really shortened stride in the last furlong and backed up; just hope he didn't bleed or hurt himself.

I also hope Einstein is ok. He looked like a really tired horse walking off after being unsaddled.

If you believe in the US$ depreciation story, then you will probably only have to wait about 5 years before you get your wish on a regular basis. Once the US$ depreciates any US based horse that can get a distance on the turf without lasix in good company will be shipped over seas or purchased for export with the big races in Europe and Australasia in mind.

Wasn't this Einstein's first race with lasix? Weird.

different horse, but I was impressed with Take The Points in the Secretariat. That was a determined stretch duel. I liked him in the Santa Anita Derby but it didn't work out. Looks like the surface change is a good one for him.

Gio Ponti must win a couple of G1 dirt races hereon to claim the HOY title..If he can win BC Turf it will be an asset to
score Best Turf Horse...But Conduit is on the other side of the Ocean eyeing this race as well as the turf king title.

So far only the great HIGH CHAPARRAL(2003 world series champion) has won this 12f event back to back (the 2003
win was a dead heat with JOHAR)...It will be exciting if SEA THE STARS will be drawn into it to engender a 3 kingdom
challenge.
