watch out for quality road

just a hunch. unlike most dirt horses, he's bred up and down for the fake, he's improved every race after his long layoff and while he might not win, expect him to run a bang up race and be in thet hick of it

I would say watch out for the EURO'S. Has Q R ever ran at Santa Anita?

He is a big danger. With the time off from his last race I think he'll be tough. I also like MTB to come running.

While I am a Quality Road fan, I worry that his style will not suit the surface. QR has a high cruisiing speed and runs forwardly placed. Santa Anita seems to favor closers...

Having said that I now wonder if my longshot bet on Careless Jewel in the Distaff over Zenyatta becomes less likely for the same reason. :?
A difference of opinion is what makes horse racing and missionaries.

Less likely because Zenyatta is NOT RUNNING in the race?

Well Diomed, now that Zenyatta is in the Classic and out of the Distaff, the odds on Careless Jewel will surley plummet. So I guess I will wheel her on top with a few underneath in a tri and maybe a super!

Both Careless Jewel and Music Note will have low odds now.
From a betting perspective that sucks! LOL, oh well....
Z's presence in the Classic makes that race interesting from a betting perspective. Many feel(including myself), that she will be a huge favorite and I read the other day that RVW will be 4-1..I will take that!!
Not that I think Z will lose or that I want her to, but from a wagering angle you always gotta find a price. :D

I will still stick to sb..and spun the wonder Zen...no betting value left anyway the way it goes...I know I am defying gravity as far as
this forum is concerned..the other bird is in my book too..not Einstein and certainly not RR..rethinking UK champion stakes winner
Twice Over..odds on it might still finish onboard with mid stall 5..nevertheless all their presence will make the few top odds appear
not so odd.
