my breeders cup juvenille analysis

Postby bdw0617 » Wed Nov 04, 2009 12:00 pm

i think lookin at lucky is very beatable. doesnt' mean he won't win but I dont' think he's 8 to 5 good.

Noble's promise has done nothhing wrong. he won a grade 1 over the syhethic and did so in avery impressive time. the only thing i didn't like about his last race is he was looking for the finish line towards the end

you are a complete idiot if you take d'funnybone, a dirt horse by a dire sire at 5/2. he might win. but 5 /2 is stupid. remember last year

very rarely will I put a horse that lost over the horse he lost to but i'm going to make an exeption with Aikenite. one more jump and he has noble promises number in that race. I think he is the better long term of the two horses

20 to 1 is laughable. he wont' see half that.

the object is to make money here, not pick winners so i'm going to go with

win - Aikenite
place - noble's promise / looking at lucky

I didn't think Noble's Promise was looking for the finish line, I thought he won easily and I was very impressed. I pick him to win, especially now that Lookin At Lucky has got such a poor post position.

hate to disagree but that looked like the scene is seabiscuit where rosemont was closing on seabiscuit in the "100 grander". one more jump and he loses that race.

Noble's Promise went too early, but a good run. Lookin at Lucky was an excellent run.

Yes, a nice run for the money by Noble's Promise and by Lookin at Lucky. I look forward to both of them on the Derby trail, although I'm not sure about Noble's Promise and a mile and a quarter. Also a good run by the winner, but a terrific ride helped that one, and looks like the Derby trail for him too.

th is one hurt, more than the ohters

look in the handicapping sec tion. i revised my pick.

I knew piscatali would run his eyeballs out. I actually called that. I called looking at l ucky and I called noble's promise

i boxed all three for a tri

what i didn't call was that damn vale of york ruining my damn trifecta.

you talking about someone shell shocked\

you know that felling when you are about to get paid, it's jus seconds away and then her comes this big blur in blue ruining everything.

I had Vale of York. He was my big win, other than Zenyatta. In fact, I had Vale of York over Noble's Promise and Aikenite. Aikenite never showed up though.

But other than that, I had a pretty lackluster day.

Juvie Turf I ignored Pounced and went with Viscount Nelson.

Had Mastercraftsman, Midshipman and Chocolate Candy in the Dirt mile.

Justenuffhumor, Jacinto, and Delegator in the mile. I just couldn't use Goldikova although I knew she was the class, and boy was she!

Had Crown of Thorns, Gayego, and Fatal Bullet in the Sprint. Gayego showed me a lot of talent and heart though today.

And Presious Passion, Red Rocks, and Spanish Moon in the turf. Talk about heart! PP has it in spades and Red Rocks paid me big his BC win so I always throw money on him.

And in the classic I had the Queen over Gio Ponti and had Regal Ransom on the bottom.

It's so easy to post your picks after the races have been run. But it doesn't make you look any better.

I was not refering to bdw, his picks were made way in advance (and pretty good, I may say). Read the thread, and you will see who is claiming winnings after the races were run. The post before "nevermind".

You mean the poster who admitted: But other than that, I had a pretty lackluster day.

I fail to see a reason for criticism.

Well aren't you consistently the crustiest cad on this forum.

Here's a screen cap of my Darby Dan contest. I bet the same as I chose them. Everything I said I did is right there for you to read.

Still bitter about the Queen Z's emphatic win, huh?
