Where's Mine That Bird?

Postby Kari » Sat Feb 06, 2010 2:38 pm

Just realized I haven't heard any news of him for quite a while. Am I missing something?

When asked about 2010 plans for Mine That Bird, co-owner Leonard Blach, D.V.M., was quoted in the San Bernardino County Sun:

“He’s sound, he’s capable of winning a lot of money, and he’s a gelding, so we can race him for some time as long as we keep him sound and take care of him.”

The plan is to race the Birdstone gelding in only four or five stakes races this year in an attempt to keep him strong for future seasons

Thanks guys! I knew he was going to be turned out for a while, just didn't know if he was still on vacay. Hope he's nice and dirty and dusty right now.
