WORKFORCE clicked 2 minutes 31.33 seconds, almost a second faster than the previous best course and distance time established by Lammtarra in the 1995 Epsom Derby.

It was almost a German Derby - with Allegretta in the pedigree of both the first and the second horse and the third horse sired by Tiger Hill.

What a great ride on a green horse full of talent,Abdullah has a great history of top class blood in his stable going back to the marvellous Dancing Brave and the win is a refreshing change from the tired stock of Coolmore. Surely they will be going back to the drawing board after their poor performances this year so far with the 3yr olds as they are very business result oriented.
