My mare has two running at Saratoga Thur.

Postby oliverstoned » Tue Aug 24, 2010 11:13 am

My sweet mare Dizzy that died two months ago has two of her foals entered Thursday at Saratoga. Thunder Jewel (Thunder Gulch) goes in the 4th and Fee On Legs (Werblin) goes in the 7th. I'm excited and a bit sad, thankfully I still have her 2010 foal who is a big happy and healthy boy.

Hi Oliver,
Best of luck to you and them....Thunder Jewel looks like she'll appreciate the added distance, she has the highest Tomlinson turf rating as well as the2nd best turf beyer. Werblin's get 18% winners from starters on the turf, Alan Garcia and Linda Rice are winning at a 32% clip at the Spa and Linda wins 23% of her turf sprint races. This baby also has the top Tomlinson turf rating....go get all the money:>) TJ

I hope they both have safe and winning trips. The Spa no less, running in the big time.

A remarkable achievement for ANY mare Oliver, well done. Certainly a sad but proud time for reflection and a look forward to the future!

Very promising race from Fee on Legs after breaking slowly, finished very well in the field of 11 to place 5th.....these guys will earn you some breeder's awards:>) TJ

Thanks everyone. A nice day for the Dizzy's, Fee On Legs went six wide on the turn for home and missed the the win by less than 2 lengths. TJ no breeders awards for me though because I bought her after these two but hopefully it will make my colt more desirable for when the time comes.

Hi Oliver,
That's too bad....but hey, you've got the colt to look forward too and Dizzy's influence on him. Who's the sire of your colt?
Dizzy sure was a nice mare, couldn't believe Summer Guest was her second dam....what a mare she was for the powerful Rokeby Stable. If Fee on Legs didn't get bumped at the start, she would have won today. Congrats again. TJ
