Would you take this horse down?

2nd race, Emerald Downs 9-25-10, objection lodged on the 2 horse from the 6 horse for interference. If you were the judge what would you rule?
Give the Pope and the King of England a horse and in thirty days, they'll be stealing halters.

Nice result for your mare, yet another winner bred by hpkingjr - must be an Eclipse award heading your way soon? :)

i have seen worse ..but the #2 horse did brush twice with the runner up in the stretch...was it enough to allow a DQ...i dont think so...the #6 never broke stride...so my verdict would be...."there shall be no disqualification, the results stand"

Without seeing the head on it's hard to say who caused what. The two horses did make contact. From the pan shot it looked "incidental".

Totally unrelated question, but why does Emerald Downs not have a turf course? You would think that the Seattle area would be the easiest place in the world to grow grass.

Would be nice compared to their pavement track.

Wildcat Trust is training well at Remington and they are looking for a turf race for him.
