Is anyone NOT rooting for Zenyatta in the BC Classic?

Betting is one thing, but I just can't see someone not wanting to see her passing this nice field and winning, it would be magical.

To be classified as a Champion, u must beat quality tb. Are the tbs in this years classic better than last years tbs? If Z can whip them again this year, she will be crowned HOY.

Well I like Zenyatta - whether or not she likes the track at Churchill is another thing. It is NOTHING like "her" home, Santa Anita. I always like to see what I call a "Mystery Horse" win a big race like that.. think Grindstone in the KY Derby... or Mine That Bird...

I'd love to see her win it. If she does, I'll probably have another heart attack just like I do everytime she runs!

I'd love to see her do it. She's such an anomaly in today's racing environment in multiple ways.

Like her or not, I think everyone would have goosebumps. She's an incredible mare that has been so kind to us, horse racing enthusiasts.

I could honestly give or take her winning......

If she wins GREAT - then I have to hear all about how she should have been HOTY in 2009 too and the other filly was a chump.

If she loses and say Blame or QR win it and get HOTY - then I have to hear about how the best mare ever never won HOTY.

Obviously, if she wins the Classic she wins HOY. How about other scenarios. What if she places to a "Mystery Horse" as Madelyn put it? Who gets HOY then? What if she enters and wins a different race other than the Classic? What is more important to the owners? "The String" or HOY? Would winning the Filly and Mare Turf, for instance, be viewed as more of a failure than placing in the Classic? I think she risks a lot by running in the Classic and think she could still get HOY in certain scenarios.

Last year Quality Road cleverly reared in time to gain himself an audience seat and watched how Z humiliated all his young and old brothers.

I will root for him. Like his devastating wins in the Donn and Woodwards. Please note his only 2 10f runs in career are not bad, esp the
2009 G1 Jockey Cup in which he lost to Summer Bird by a length.

Blame beat him by a head in the recent Whitney. This fellow is also on my radar screen for betting targets although he too has never won
a 10f. The closest is in this year's Jockey Club. He was beaten to 4l 2nd by Haynesfield.

Dont forget Super Saver, Haynesfield, ...Lookin At Lucky, Gio Ponti......

Lookin at Lucky will get tested for class, then we can see if he's the real deal. Great Classic, shaping up as the Race of the Year. Let's get it on.

Now that Rachel is not in the picture, there is no way I root against Z. However, for wagering(depending on her odds) I will try to beat her.
