Nice day for three top performances. Blame won the Classic with the highest GSV and Zenyatta was second with the second highest GSV and Goldikova was first with the highest GSV and all three had significantly higher GSV's that the rest of their fields.
That said, Uncle Mo was a brilliant winner with a lower GSV score [68.53] than one would expect at a mile and a sixteenth. The highest GSV could do no better than 4th.

Sounds like GSV was on the mark. Regarding Uncle Mo, I think he might be the exception to any pedigree measurement rule. Physically he looks like a classic type horse. He sure doesn't look like any Indian Charlie's I've ever seen. He looks more like his grand dad, In Excess, who got a mile and a quarter with no problem.
