Blind Luck may Leave California?

Postby TJ » Mon Jan 17, 2011 4:36 am

Blind Luck's trainer may move her due to the current speed favoring bias going two turns at Santa Anita. TJ

Blind Luck was shifting left and right in the stretch. Not sure whether she didn't like the track or it was something else. It was reported she worked brilliantly over the surface prior to the race.

They ran the last sixteenth in a shade over 6 and 4/5ths so the winner was definitely slowing down and subject to getting caught. Blind Luck looked like she was going to make a run at her but flattened out. Perhaps she needed the race. I wouldn't throw out the baby with the bathwater yet..

Hi Zinn,
He wasn't down on her, nor did he think she doesn't like the surface.....he just doesn't want to have her spin her wheels running over a track that has such a strong bias against her running style......every stake the last few weeks were won by front runners. If the track bias changes and she has a fair chance to make a run from the back of the pack....he won't be going anywhere.
I would like to see her come back down here to Florida.....the tracks been fairly bias free. TJ

TJ, no doubt that track is favoring speed.

she needs to move bad. she can't do anything in 4 horse fields going 8.5 furlongs. she needs to be in 9 horse 9F-10F races.
