Parade Ring

Postby wangkw » Sun Jan 30, 2011 11:28 am

I know many series bettors would spend the entire morning at a turf club to watch how horses do in their workouts
during any racing week. This will give something extra on top of what they have already got in mind with those
runners, certainly. Then come the raceday itself..the parade ring is packed with these people usually..without fail
before each race begins..if you are one of them..what will be the order of significance on your check list ?

It depends on the track. When I am at oaklawn I don't bother becuase the horses spend so much time in the post parade, plus, it's too far away from the Simulcast spot and where all the good food is lol.

I went to Del Mar a few years ago. I would live in that paddock if you let me.

I generally, only play tracks who take the paddock/ post parade seriously. Some do some don't. Santa Anita does. Mountaineer doesn't. Oaklawn Does, Tampa Bay Does, Laurel Park doesn't. I like to know what I am wagering on.

Thanks..bdw..people used to murmur with their companions about the ante post form of a horse when it is passing before
them with the silk guy atop him:lol: ....behold, this fellow got air..that one..nmm.. so so lol...as if something is so palpable
out there.

Really how much form one can figure out from that few minutes of fashion show indeed ?
