I will be rooting for Awesome Patriot, "bought" by me as a yearling, and Runflatout, who is the current West Point horse I would have recommended my friends to buy a share of , if they were buying this year! Very happy I "have" some decent 3 year olds this year.

No doubt this should be a good one. Particularly complex to handicap, might be the toughest yet.

Runflatout has that blistering speed and coupled w/that seven furlong workout he might just have enough to hang on, but asking him to win a G2 second time out at a distance sure is asking a lot. If he wins it, does he stamp his ticket to the big dance? Can't go w/the synthetic runners first time on dirt. I think Bench Points has paid his dues . . . but looking at those works by Jaycito, I have to think Baffert means business w/this guy. I can't hate the Baff, sure would like to beat him, but if ya' can't beat em', join em'.

Jaycito to win.

Premier Pegasus is bred, owned and trained by the same guy. There is a story here--does anyone know anything about him?

He bred, owned and trained PP's G1 winning half-brother Street Hero as well. I wouldn't mind owning their dam!
