Mott's sent To Honor and Serve back to work and wasted no time tightening down the screws when he worked a bullet 5/8th's Sunday morning at Payson Park in 1:01.20 breezing. TJ

Hi Dub,
I'm interested to see if he will come back in the Florida Derby. I know we didn't see the real To Honor and Serve race here last time and the way Mott went right to a strong work....it makes me think he know's he wasn't near fit enough for the Fountain of Youth and doesn't want to lose any time making him much tighter for his next heat. TJ

Most people don't realise that horses aren't programable machines and can be beaten every now and again.

How many KY Derby winners have been undefeated?
Big Brown
Smarty Jones
Seattle Slew

Thats 3 in 34 yrs, odds are that the Derby winner suffers a defeat before the big dance.

To Honor and Serve will be a starter in the Florida Derby. Garrett Gomez will fly in for the mount. TJ

This guy was my Derby horse going back to his debut, but he was really awful in the FOY. Even if he improves, the race doesn't set up for him - he can't rate and there appears to be some speed in the race.
