Wow!
A few years ago I read about a famous top-notch jockey who briefly
returned to the saddle after less than a decade off and was surprised to acknowledged that he no longer had the same athletic abilities. Perhaps
it is less related to age than to keeping racing condition. The great Uruguayan racing legend Irineo Leguisamo raced well into his early 70s.
Curious note: Legendary jockey Irineo Leguisamo (known as "el pulpo" ["the octopus"] was the favorite jockey of the great Argentinian Tango singer and actor tragically killed in an airplane accident, Carlos Gardel
As per Jean Cruguet, wish him all God' blessing and His protection. After the illness of his beloved wife it is quite understandable. Let's wish him all the Best.
