I wonder who bought a lot of the coupons? The serious players that are going to be there regardless, or a lot of casual/first-time people. Once you get the curious out to the track, I hope there is some sort of follow through to get them to the windows. To wit; they go out there, eat and drink a little, but don't know what to do after that. As we all know, the track can be a bit overwhelming to the uninitiated.

I remember quite a few years ago the local track had a drawing for a new pick-up. Every Wednesday throughout the season, the track had free admission for people to come in and enter their name each week. I ran a concession next to where they took entries. Saw a ton of folks come to the track to enter their names and then leave. It was heavily promoted, but didn't do a thing for actually getting people to the track.

Shergar

Roke left me a message earlier this week touting Midnight Interlude.

I called back and left a message letting him know he is effing insane.
I guess that is the pot calling the kettle black.
