Pleasanton "horse vanned"
Does any know how the horse that was vanned off yesterday(Sunday) is doing?
That was Truco in the 4th race, trained by Frankie Miranda. I don't think he was destroyed as I called someone at Pln today and he was unaware of anyone being vanned off. Usually everyone knows when someone lost a horse. Truco was limping very badly but his leg did not look unstable, so I hoped it might be a bowed tendon. His ankle was not down low, but his knee was bent, so it could be a slab fracture. I'll see if I can find out.

It's sad, I have been watching him for a while since he has been running at SA as a two year old. He was out of racing there for a few months, but like alot of the Stormy Jack horses they do get hurt bad esp in the tendons. Its not surprising at all. He is one of the last male older Stormy Jack horses running. The other run is in Az. doing terrible.
