SEA MOON
NATHANIEL
BLUE BUNTING
CENSUS
TREASURE BEACH
MASKED MARVEL
BROWN PANTHER
The final leg of the classic for 3 year old in UK will be run on Saturday, 10 September.
The field this year is likely to witness near capacity with 17 runners.
Top favorite is Sea Moon, which won the last 3 races from 4 starts this year. His last win was sealed in the G2 12f Great Voltigeur
early this month at York, beating the nearest Al Kazeem by 8 lengths. The 2 other wins were both listed races.
Next is NATHANIEL...which has just beaten Workforce in the G1 12f King George by 2&3/4 lengths in a field of only 5. The only
other graded race he has won is the G2 12f King Edward VII, beating 9 others by 5 lengths and up... His dad is none other than
the mighty Galileo.
BLUE BUNTING is the 3rd choice. She won both the G1 12f Yorkshire Oaks and the similar Irish Oaks...Son of Dynaformer.
Treasure Beach is the winner of both the G110f Secretariat Stakes and the G1 12f Irish Derby. Just missed the prestigeous UK
Derby Stakes by a nose. Guess who his sugar daddy is ?
CENSUS won the G3 13f Geoffrey Freer and was 2nd in the G3 13f Bahrain Trophy.

Video of the St. Leger: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IakkfNVgBKc
Masked Marvel, under William Buick, won an incredible St. Leger today. The 14-furlong classic at Doncaster was marked by an incredulously quick early pace that took the legs off most of the runners and rewarded the one that had the pedigree to stay the trip under the most testing of trips, head winds, and pace scenarios. The result was a new course record. The three-year-old colt is a son of Montjeu from a German-bred mare and is a product of Sadler’s Wells/Darshaan.

You r sharp pal...actually it was not only the race's fatest finish ever...it was "also" a new world record time (turf). The documented world
record for 1&3/4 miles, 2:53.35, can be extrapolated into 3:00.73 for the St Leger distance by timing the surplus 120 meters at the same
pace (more conservative than working backwards from the 2 miles record, 3:18.00) the MM's winning time in this sense was thus 0.29
second better than the "world record".
The 2nd horse was 3 lengths behind, or equivalently, 0.5-0.6 second late.
