big day of racing saturday

Postby bdw0617 » Wed Mar 28, 2012 5:41 pm

so you think in the dubai world cup
regally ready will get ran in hte gorund don't waste your money

going with Balada Sale in the UAE Derby. always take the southern hemisphere horses in the uae derby they are actually 4 years old by our standards.

I like Joy and Fun in the Al Quaz sprint

the golden shaheen I like Seopy. I have seen him race and besides black caviar I think he is the best sprinter in the world. horse can scoot. can probably give BC a serious run for her money but ti don't think would win.
Rocket man came in 2nd in this race last year, no he won it last year he came in 2nd the year before last, he likes the course., the factor has never seen sprinters like this in his life. going to have to beat me.

going with presvis in the duty free. this is his time of year and he will be running. this will be a grab bag race. least sure of this one of all my bets

I have no clue in the Sheema classic though I don't like St. Niclohs Abbey. He is a cut below the very best IMHO and this is the very best. he isn't racing against scrubs like he was in the breeders cup

you have to take my world cup pick with a grain of salt because so you think is my fav horse in the world. He is very very talented. if he runs his best race the rest are running for second. he LOVES 10F. that's his perfect distance. he ran well on dirt in the breeders cup, he loves turf, he should like the surface. if he runs his race he will win. game on dude's worst races of his career have come on the fake stuff, i don't' like this move at all and don't like him though I like him as a horse i don't like him in this spot.

in the santa anita oaks box ranesgotzip and eden's moon they will finish one two but it's a grab bag as to who will come up on top. gun to my head eden's moon as she's the speed.

easiest money you will make all day is travelin man in the sir schakleton. he loves that track and will win by as many as he wants.

awesome maria in the rampart is a good bet though very chalky

I like Beau Chiox in the Appleton. he will get over looked but he loves a mile and he loses to really good horses and these horses aren't the best he's going against. street game can run too

the florida derby is aq 2 horse race. do not waste your money betting on any horse other than union rags or el padrino. i don't care what the odds are or how overlay they are you are wasting your money they aren't going to win. they are allowance / high level claiming horses and these two horses are grade 1 horses.

I like El P to stretch out though I am not in love with either of them.

Bast - sorry to hear you can't watch it on TV. I am looking forward to watching on NBC Sports (or whatever Versus became). They do a good job & have some good camera shots - HD even.

Love Union Rags.

Would love to see GOD win the DWC - that horse tries so hard, and the story of a female jock and a trainer who just had a heart attack would definately hit the mainstream press.

Where are they showing it anyway? NYRA's blurbs were not clear. Versa, you say?

I don't have TVG and won't be getting it. But I kind of want to watch some of these races.

Florida Derby always seems to be an interesting race. Union Rags is on the same schedule as Barbaro. As a fan of the horse, I wish he had one more race leading into this one, from a fitness and race experience perspective.

I had the tri in that race, but the real win is the fact that Renee's dam is booked back to City Zip for tomorrow..

Willa B Amazing may finally get credit for how hardtrying and UTTERLY GAME a race mare she actually is....couldn't believe with two genuine speed horses sure to be on the front end that bettors (well, not Crystal) left her out of their computations so she ended up paying $29+ for the faithful. Reneesgotzip is a very talented speedster and showed her grit by hanging on the very tip of her nose but yesterday was "Willa" day at S.A. Enjoyed watching those two battle to the wire as much as any of the races yesterday and have to give kudos to Renee as she went out like a rocket and fought hard the entire way once challenged.

Another close and great race was the one at FG where Artemus Kitten fought off a late challenge from the odds on favorite (and much taller horse) Upper Line to hang on by a nostril for her photo win. That diminuative chestnut mare showed a lot of guttiness in ekeing out that win and credit has to be given to Rosie Napravnik for one of the best rides I observed all day. True dat: Upper Line was clearly not as 'primed' as her connections no doubt thought she was (I think she kind of 'switched off' in the early going when she was asked to rate) but she remembered she was a racehorse coming down the stretch and I was amazed that little Artemus Kitten could outlast her as she did.
