Seems unusual to penalize the horse....shouldn't Jordan be to blame?

Oh don't worry about Terry Jordan, this is the second time the same horse tested positive for Ace. Last time they gave Jordan 30 days and a $2,500 fine, hard to say what it will be this time.

Just read the article. Are you kidding me? They penalize the horse and the trainer just goes on training? What did the security camera catch the horse injecting himself? This is ridiculous...

Why do you think there will be no fine or days for the trainer?? Last time he got 30 days and a fine, I would guess there might be more days and a bigger fine this time.

That horse is a nut, I wouldn't be surprised if he trains on Ace as do alot of horses these days. He went out and ran that race in near track record time so I doubt very much that he was full of tranq. More likely there was a build up in his system or someone gave him Ace within the withdrawl window. Either way the trainer will be held responsible, Woodbine is very tough with their drug rules.

Jane,
I didn't realize Jordan HADN'T been penalized YET, I was commenting on the horse being suspended. I have never heard of that occurring.
