BC Pre-Entries

Postby TJ » Wed Oct 24, 2012 4:18 pm

Here are the 180 pre-entries for the 2012 BC races at SA November 2nd and 3rd. There are 23 horses cross entered, so there will be changes to this when the actual field is entered and drawn on Monday October 29th. This will give you a good head start on this years BC. TJ

TJ,

Thank you so much for the valuable reference.
This year seems like lot of surprises in the making!

Hi Jorge,
You are quite welcome. This year is one of the best and most competitive in years...making this a tough, but most interesting handicapping challenge. TJ

starspangledbanner at 15 to 1 is literally, the overly of the century. wow that's an overly. if he has 4 legs still and doesn't run into trouble he will win geared down. he's just on a different level than these.

I'm not so sure the classic isn't the lesser f the 2 races for Royal Delta. she isn't rachel alexandra or zenyatta or even harve de grace, but she will go 10F. i can't say that for any other horse in the classic sans Pool play, Dullahan who hates dirt, and game on dude

Questing and Awesome Feather are going to be extremely tough at 9F however.

i don't see the upside in her going into the ladies classic honestly. it's a tougher (to me ) race for less money

this isn't a great from top to bottom classic, but there are some gimmies like executive privilege and there are some interesting races.. i see bombs away in the turf and mile already

Cindy Pierson Dulay's "About Racing" site is actually much more informative than the the DRF. Scroll down on this link and you will find complete and free past performances of all the BC pre-entries for both days of the 2012 Breeder's Cup. TJ

Now you're testing my memory. I think Cindy Pierson Dulay is a photographer in Canada? I think I purchased photos from her up at WO a few years ago?

Hi ct,
That was probably her....she is a photographer and captured the eclipse award winning photo in 2004 of Stephans Angel. You can search google to see this amazing photo of her leaping in the air. Fairly well copyrighted, I tried twice and refuses posting the picture on another site. TJ
