Graydar wins the donn. I've had my eye on him since I saw him at calder. didn't think he'd win today but he has talent.

Hi bdw,
It was an interesting card....I think Graydar is a nice horse too, but he never ran at Calder. He's a big horse and had physical issues or he might have been a much better horse. I think Flat Out proved he doesn't like racing at Gulfstream Park....no doubt he prefers cooler weather for his best.
Animal Kingdom ran well (and many will blame the jockey for moving to soon)....but he couldn't withstand Point of Entry today. It's unfortunate we won't get to see them compete against each other again since Point of Entry may go to Dubai to run in the Golden Shaheen and Animal Kingdom is scheduled to go to Dubai for the World Cup March 30th. Animal Kingdom will then go to Royal Ascot for a Stake in June, which could be his final race. The outcome of the Gulfstream Park Handicap had me take note that the turf eclipse championships really should be decided at distances beyond one mile. TJ
