Orb Heads Home (Video)

Here's Orb heading home this morning, with his exercise rider Jen Patterson on the shank while Shug supervises. Orb really does look great and the way he acted loading, it doesn't seem like the Derby took much out of him at all. Even considered taking a pot shot at Shug (bringing a giggle to on looker's), then tried to line up a van assistant....but he let them both slide and fired one into the air:>) Make sure to click on the full screen video. He acted like he's exhausted to me, as any horse would less than 24 hours after winning the Kentucky Derby in the mud.

He loaded up real nice and really didn't give them much trouble. That was no act-up.

The fella just wanted some well deserved mouthfuls of green grass, you can see that very plainly!

@BDW, this video shows what I was trying to explain in the other post, about the "family butt" very well, since its mainly taken from the behind. I envy his exercise rider, lucky girl!

He does look tired and a wee bit stiff, but that's to be expected of course.
