Very sad indeed but his pain is over now after such a long battle with cancer. I am sure that the joy of Frankel's performances extended his life. He was so gaunt from the effects of Chemotherapy and yet the promise of saddling and watching the "greatest horse that I ever saw" must have gave him the will to fight on a little bit longer. He was a fantastic trainer and a wonderful person.
