Contempt of Court

Postby Heidilady » Mon Jul 22, 2013 6:24 pm

Does anybody have any idea what's going on with him? I got a stable mail alert on a work, couldn't remember who he was, then realized he was the Lawyer Ron-Jostle colt, full brother to Adirondack King. First start 6f on dirt he got bumped and pulled up near the end according to the chart. Second race was 1 1/16 on turf and he at least finished but not well.

Is he a head case? Did he have bad luck twice? I find it hard to believe he's just that lousy. I'd hate to geld a Lawyer Ron with a dam like that, but maybe that's the problem. He's with Dale Romans and owned by West Point Thoroughbreds according to Equibase. He's got the connections. He's got the breeding. I'm confused.

Hi there...
Adirondack King hasn't been a smashing success either, although pretty decent and made some money.
if you have COC in your stable you know he recently had a workout after some time off. Yes his first two starts were disastrous. Likely head case.
I have COC in my fantasy stable too...so I'm equally concerned!
I used to have West Point connections, but they've finally dropped my log-in privileges after I haven't owned a piece for a few years. If you REALLY want to know, I'll send them an e-mail as an ex-client/prospect.
PS..according to Jockey Club, no gelding--yet.
