game on dude is a really tricky horse. you have to have watched all of game on dude's races like i have to understand him.

first of all i want to state that i am the founder of the game on dude fan club. i am the ifrst person on this forum to nice him and i touted him in the belmont in which he ran a strong 3rd when he was like 15 to 1. so i love me some game on dude.

i'm not anti game on dude. I just know him. here's the thing about game on dude.

he's the most finiky horse in the country. he's a carbon copy of war emblem. if he is able to get the lead, you might as well stop watching the race. he's going to win. you won't get past him if he can dictate the pace of the race

however.

if you can beat him to the punch and get the lead on him, he gets pissy and stops running. war emblem was the same way.

so in the classic, as much as i like game on dude, i'm still going to bet against him for that very sole reason. he was 8/5 in last year's classic. the time to wager on game on dude was 2 years ago (i touted him here too then lol) not this year. too much speed someone will beat him to the punch.

i don't think game on dude can sit off legit grade 1 horses like palice malice / mucho macho man / wise dan and run off and win because HE''S NEVER DONE IT.

i will be rooting for him like crazy to win but i will be wagering else where in the classic.

If you're founder of the Game on Dude fan club you better not confuse the Dudes:>) That was First Dude who was third in the Belmont that year. Game on Dude was fourth beaten 2 1/2 lengths by Drosselmeyer in the Belmont Stakes...who also whipped him in the BC Classic the following year at CD. TJ

I like his quarter splits. First, fourth and fifth quarters were each 24 flat. VERY unusual to see the last half of a 10f in 48 these days.
