WISE DAN is clearly an exceptional horse and now deserving of being Horse of the Year!

Can he Three-peat?

I think probably he should be but I have a suspicion he won't get the vote - there's kind of a bias against turf horses for this award.

Wise Dan has to get it -there is no other choice

Others:

New Year's Day gets 2yo, but the 2yof is still TBD.
Will Take Charge gets 3yo and Beholder takes 3yof
MMM gets older horse and Royal Delta takes older female

don't care much about the others

I think he gets three awards-older, HOY and turf.

I really like Mucho Macho Man but when you look at his entire year, no...

Game on Dude would be a bad joke-every time real runners show up, he doesn't.

I was looking at Mizdirection's year and hers was better than Groupie Doll. There isn't an award for turf sprinter, is there? I feel like Mizdirection should get a nod for top female sprinter, she kicked the boys butts AGAIN in a sprint, just on grass.
