New Years Day Retired

Quite a disappointment. I would've liked to have seen him develop as a 3-year-old, mostly because this BC Juvenile (so far) hasn't looked strong.
Baffert has more good ones to come.
Kind of a weird situation, he really hasn't done a lot, except win the biggest G1 for 2-year-old colts, but it's hard to read off that. Certainly has a nice enough pedigree.

Woo. They set his fee at $12,500.
That's more than Flat Out, Power Broker, Morning Line, Overanalyze, Liaison, and I Want Revenge.
Seems high when you look at his race record, why he retired so darn early in life, and compare him to a horse like Flat Out.
For $10,000 you can go to Street Boss, or for $5,000 to Street Hero.
