Aqueduct . . . Fabulous or Folly?
Thinking of taking family (including kids and a dear lifelong friend) to the big A tomorrow for New Years. I haven't been there since they remodeled...is it nice and family appropritae, or is it going to be like an OTB in Times Square in the 1970's? Anyone been there recently?

Hi Toccet,
Aqueduct is Aqueduct....face lifts won't turn it into a Saratoga or Belmont experience:>) If you can get a table in The Equestris Restaurant (888-516-6972), you should have a nice day. Good view of the races from all the tables there. TJ
OK, the casino is all they care about. Track is still the same old eyesore, and very much like an OTB in Times square in the 70's. Depressing. But the restaurant TJ recommended was nice, with AMAZING cookies, and nice views. Girls were excited to see race horses.
Happy New Year, all!
