TJ

If he runs like he has in the past, and his works say he will, it will be a nice paid workout for him.

Didn't find him overly impressive in this race, but it has been months since he last ran. He's a grinder type of horse.

Hi Cree,
I thought Revolutionary ran a very good race today considering the long layoff and slow start. The time of his race was a fifth of a second faster then The GR III Hals Hope winner, Lea. Revolutionary may prove to be a serious contender in the handicap division this season. WinStar Farm had a good day today winning two...after unveiling 3YO contender Constitution, who won at first asking going 7/8ths of a mile, after hesitating badly at the start. TJ

I watched the race again, you are right. I think he's a good horse, he just doesn't have a huge turn of foot, which makes him deceiving (in my eyes).
I agree though, I think he will be a competitive horse in the handicap division.

Hi Cree,
At the time general manager Elliot Walden, wanted to give Revolutionary a chance to grow and fill out away from the racetrack, so he was sent to WinStar farm right after last seasons Belmont Stakes. Seems that was the right move as he looks like a different horse. Bad news is he will rush back to the races....makes no sense considering he was sent to the farm to build up. He will run next in the Donn...but the timing could be off for Pletcher's best work. Only 4 weeks till the Donn and Pletcher does best with 5-6 weeks between races? Maybe he will get away with it because he had so much time off....guess we'll wait and see? TJ
