Today's 2 races

Sam F Davis- didn't think any of these horses looked like they are ready for a 10 furlong Derby... time will tell. The 2nd place horse looked drunk down that stretch. The winner was flicking his ears greenly.

Withers- those two ran their eyeballs out. Shortening strides at the end there.

Basically, I think it's safe to put Cairo Prince up top for the Derby Dozen right now.

Disagree. I loved Harpoon's run for 2nd in the SF Davis. Was shuffled back badly on the turn, fanned 7 wide in the stretch and really started to close but drifted in and lost his run when the horse inside moved out slightly. Great turn of foot and IMHO the best of that group by far.

On the wrong lead, leaning in on them?
I also don't think he wants 10 furlongs. He's a TAPIT out of a mare that produced Cuvee and Will He Shine.
