Beholder schooling

For being a "plain" bay, she is very pretty. Here she is schooling, like a proper professional. Mandella sure treats her like a princess :-)

I think she is very special, and has somehow remained an underdog, despite being a two-time champion. I hope she runs a big one on Saturday over the other two big mares in the race.

Hi Cree,
Mandella is a class act as well as an outstanding trainer and sportsman. Accepting the challenge to come east allowing for a rematch between these three (Beholder, Close Hatches, Princess of Sylmar) on their turf, as opposed to there last meeting at Santa Anita. He doesn't spin his wheels when shipping...I'll never forget Bayakoa and Go For Wand locked on each other in the BC Distaff at Belmont Park, Mandella and his wife entered the winner's circle with tears in their eyes. Past performances are below. TJ
