Mike Maker brought General A Rod to the assembly barn late, causing the Stewards to investigate the complaint. He could be disqualified from the $35,000 in earnings he received for finishing 7th. TJ

Re: General A Rod Possible DQ?
He should be DQ'd in my opinion. I was there and he didn't get to the barn until everyone else was leaving. Security had told him numerous times he had to be there too. No excuse.

Hi Discovery.
This rule was created for Belmont Stakes day by the NYS Gaming Commission who is responsible for the rules of racing. Here are the rules set in place by the Commission fro Belmont Stakes day.... http://www.gaming.ny.gov/pdf/05.22.14.H ... Stakes.pdf
Martin Panza, senior vice president of racing at NYRA, who doesn't oversee rule enforcement, states General A Rod broke no rule by arriving late to the assembly barn (read the above rule which contradicts what Panza said?) ...http://www.bloodhorse.com/horse-racing/ ... -test-barn
Why would Panza open his mouth since the stewards are looking into the situation and the rules issued by the Commission? The sooner we get uniform rules throughout the industry the better it will be...they better start moving because the right hand doesn't seem to know what the left hand is doing anymore?? TJ
