I have seen many Ky. Derby's is my lifetime. One thing I have learned is a TB that is fresh and fit will run big on Derby day.

There are trainers that point for the Derby, Ben Jones was one, and Wayne Lucas is one.

You have to have the TB that has the breeding for the mile and one quarter, and your TB has to have talent, and determination to get the job done.

I have noticed over the years that the TB that have an easy race in their last derby prep, will run well in the Derby, as this is called a black cat bounce.

Lets see if this years Derby will follow this black cat bounce pattern.
