Voodoo Dancer Stakes

Postby Green Hills » Fri May 13, 2005 7:20 am

Did anyone see it yesterday? It made me smile to see that the jockey who rode Voodoo Dancer most often was riding the winning horse. :D :D :D

I saw the name of the race in the results and it immediately made me smile. :)

How's Voodoo Dancer doing? Is she back in foal for next year?

We got her back into season, and she was sent to Unbridleds Song, but no confirmation of pregnancy yet.

Man, how cool. I can only hope to have a Stakes Race named after one of my horses someday....

She is a special horse by anyone's reckoning...we were blessed to have had her race for us...I am just thrilled that a race was named for her...and hopefully next year we'll be naming a baby (a healthy one this time) of hers... :) :)

That's great! Guess you really know you're a success when they name a race after one of your horses. LOL I missed the race, but I'm sure it was inspiring.

It was fun to watch...knowing she could've beaten any one of them...
