Postby Tucumcari » Sat Jun 11, 2005 6:25 pm

Lost In The Fog!!!!
What a game colt he is!!!
It almost looked like Egg Head might get to him, but he is so much determined race horse that he dug in gamely!!! Yippee!!! How much fun is it to have two such talented and dominant in their division colts!!! I love this game!!

Very nice win for the very nice colt.
And one more thing...Egg Head? Owners, leave your horses some dignity, please... don't name them after chicken embryos

*laughs*

Isn't Egg Head named after the Batman villain of the same name? I'm pretty sure that's where it came from.

And Lost In The Fog ran a great race, that's for sure.

My vote may be to "Woke up Dreamin" who was on the same card as lost in the fog. Check out the breeding especially on the dam side, could be any kind!!

7f lost in the fog would probably win 8f would be close 1m 1/16 on would be all alex. Maybe they will start trying to stretch Lost in the Fog out a bit, I don't think alex will be doing anything less than 1m and a 1/16

I don't think Afleet Alex has ever been defeated racing under a mile. Personally I dont think Lost in the Fog would have a chance against Alex at sprinter distances.

BloodHorse said Alex might run anywhere on the Breeder's Cup card (except probably not in the filly or mare races ). That means if the 3yo champ title comes down to Alex vs. Fog they could have some kicks and fight it out on the track in the BC Sprint. Not that they would- BC Classic would win the connections more accolades- but they COULD.

It will NOT come down to Alex vs Fog. Period. End Transmission.

DAMN! Alex has two legs of the triple crown. NO ONE IS GOING TO TAKE THE 3YO TITLE FROM HIM (without beating OLDER HORSES OVER A ROUTE OF GROUND MULTIPLE TIMES) , SO GIVE IT UP!

I swear, 30 years of history and STILL people refuse to get that through their head.

Not to say that it wouldn't be an entertaining matchup. There will always be people who question who should have gotten the award whether it's got Alex's name engraved on it or not, and fighting it out for real (rather than theoretically...definately Fog could beat Alex, of course Alex could beat Fog) would be rather nice.
Of course, you are right: the name is already engraved. I just want to be entertained.
